Why I Started Your Jewellery Finds
My love of jewellery began with my mother.
As part of her Maltese heritage, special milestones in our family were often marked with European jewellery, much of it from Malta. When I was a young girl, I loved sitting with Mum and admiring her beautiful pieces. She had married a master tailor and always dressed impeccably, with exquisite jewellery to match.
There was a special piece for every occasion: a statement cocktail ring—often, the bigger the better—vintage earrings, or a tiara. Each piece had its own character, and together they made getting dressed feel like something wonderful.
Those memories inspired me to start "Your Jewellery Finds", an online business bringing together vintage, modern and antique jewellery. I want to help people discover the intricate, distinctive pieces crafted by master jewellers many decades before us, and play a small part in preserving their history. When a treasured piece finds a new owner, its story can continue on a new journey.
I also want "Your Jewellery Finds" to bring joy to younger generations. Modern pieces can be gifted, worn and cherished too, and I hope to offer something for everyone—whether you’re searching for a special occasion piece, a thoughtful gift or something that simply feels like you.
